Sheenster303 0 #1 September 20, 2004 Do you want to know what happens when you leave your windows open in your room at night and they don't have screens on them? Little tiny insects and bugs fly in and make themselves at home all over your room. Sometimes they might even find shelter in one's ear. Yeah so I spend 4 hours in the Emergency Room last night because some kind of insect buggy thingy decided that my ear should be its new home. It was the most HORRIFIC thing ever!!! I could hear it crawling around inside my ear. I tried to get it out, but it just kept going farther in. So they sprayed lanacane in my ear to kill it and I heard it freaking out as it was dying! It was so gross plus my ear hurt so bad! They could only get a part of it out of my ear, but there is still a piece left in there that they couldn't get to without a specialist. So I have to go to the ear/nose/throat doc tomorrow so they can get it out. The one good thing about all this. They gave me Oxycotin for pain! It helps a lot for my broken leg too. So the moral of this story kids is to make sure you have screens on your windows before you leave them open at night. Plus if you leave your windows open, the aliens will abduct you. And no one wants that.I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #

bch7773 0 #14 September 20, 2004 yeah i've slept outside plenty and never had a bug crawl inside my ear. Its interesting how loud bugs sound when they right near your ear though... a daddy-longlegs sounds exactly like someone stepping in leaves nearby when its on your ear. peacefuljeffrey 0 #16 September 20, 2004 Holy Fucking Shit!! That's sooooo gross!! Better hope it didn't lay eggs! P.S. Do you really think aliens can make it all the way here in an interstellar spacecraft, possibly navigating hyperspace, and then be unable to jimmy open a window of an earthling house?? "Shit, Xylorg!... I guess we should just turn back and go home. These damned earthlings and their Anderson window!!" Blue skies, -Jeffrey-Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Please be careful and don't enjoy it too much. My friend got addicted to that stuff, and I also know a girl whose husband did, and their marriage is over now and her son is essentially fatherless. Your whole experience sounds pretty gross. Damn girl, i dont know how you're handling it all. Good thing for the oxycotin i suppose. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! Shotgun 1 #24 September 20, 2004 How bizarre! We were just discussing this in my First Aid class on Friday - bugs crawling in to your ear, and I was thinking that I've never heard of that happening to anyone. Apparently the only thing you can do without going to the doc is to shine a light into your ear and hope the bug will crawl towards the light... Well, I hope your ear is feeling better! Enjoy the Oxycotin, and get some screens for your windows!
