ACMESkydiver 0 #1 September 21, 2004 How far is Byron from LA?? Where is a good spot to buy up a patch of land a lil' north maybe and east of LA? Patch of land = 50+ acres. I have to start investigating...for the new Panico homestead...~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
Girlfalldown 0 #2 September 21, 2004 Byron's about 400ish miles north of LA. It's an hour east of San Francisco. I want a dropzone on Treasure Island. That's the island in the middle of the Bay Bridge. Unfortunately there's some law that says something like you can't have a dropzone within 30ish miles of a commercial airport or something like that. There's one in Taft which is in the middle of no where between San Francisco and Los Angeles already. East of LA is too far south for Byron folk though Still thinking.... -------------- (Do not, I repeat DO NOT, take my posts seriously.)

A little north and east of LA will put you in either the southern central valley or the high desert. Visit before you buy. If you're planning to work in LA be prepared for the commute from hell. Bring lots of money. You'll need it. Real estate is expensive anywhere in California and it's most expensive close to the major metro areas (LA basin, Bay area) and along the coast. I haven't seen the C206 going up with anything but static line students. The fast Beech99 is always flying And Madera's only plane on the weekend is a C182. -www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
