Halvah is a ...well, I guess you'd call it a candy, or a confection. It's bittersweet paste made from sesame and molasses, formed into a stick like a stick of butter. You slice it and eat it! It may be one of those "acquired tastes." When I eat it, I feel kinda like I'm communing with my mother's spirit. (Same like when I eat chick peas. She turned me on to Halvah, and chick peas.) 419gotaminute 0 #2 September 23, 2004 When I was living in Seattle I worked in Pikes Market at a shop, one of the things we sold was Halvah. Man I have never seen so many junkies noddin out trying to order that stuff in between blackouts. I'm not sure why but they would jones for that stuff.
