Good morning joke

I haven't written in this forum for over 2 years so I thought I'd re introduce myself with a joke.

The Pope is standing on the beach when he see's a man wearing a Dallas Cowboy's jersey get attacked by a shark. Then two men in a boat wearing Redskins jerseys race up, harpoon the shark and pull the cowboy fan from the sharks jaws. The pope is so impressed by the 2 men that he shouts out to them. "Bless you brothers, for it is well known that cowboy and redskin fans have long lived in strife with each other and yet you set aside your differences and saved this man."
One redskin fan turns to the other and says. "What is he talking about?" the other replied "I dont know, I don't care, I'm out here to catch shark. how's the bait?"

That's pretty funny! Of course, being in Dallas, I'll have to reverse the roles when I retell it!

Well, I'm not exactly a die-hard Cowboy fan anymore either, but I am loyal to state teams (Houston Texans don't count, Houston is completely different than the rest of TX and they are a brand new expansion team).
