Fishtank 0 #26 September 23, 2004 Back in the broke days I lived off this stuff for years: Mix up Tuna, Kraft mayo, and 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons of Louisianna brand hot sauce. Good stuff! A dab of mustard with plain tuna and mayo isn't bad either. I think somebody mentioned green olives which are nice also. My Mom used to make it with tuna, kraft mayo, and finely chopped celery. Then she would put it on toasted bread. Again, Yum! As far as mac 'n cheese, there is only one good way to make it. When you boil the pasta be sure to add salt to the water. When you drain the water be sure that you toss it around in the strainer so you get as much water out as possible. Don't use milk! just add more butter. Be sure to add the "cheese" AFTER the butter. Then add black pepper to taste. Ramen noodles any flaver: Drain the water after cooking instead of making it soupy. Add an even tablespoon of butter and the seasoning pack. You can add a dab of hot sauce too if you like. Also, mixed in scrabbled eggs with the Oriental noodle flaver is good. This one came from my Grandfather: Chopped potatoes, milk, butter, salt and pepper. Make sure the liquid covers the potatoes. Then simmer slowly for several hours. Great easy and cheap potatoe soup. Mop up with slices of buttered bread....anyway I could go on and on. Jeez, the memories! NOW I"M HUNGRY
