Living on tuna...

Recommended Posts

I've been living on tuna to save for airtime...

anyone know some cool recipes for sandwhiches?...
or dressing to put on sandwhiches?... anything?..
tuna and ranch with potato bread is slowly making me
nausceous... I got some jalepenos for the sandwhiches
, but I figure that'll only last for 1-2 days or so...

I've heard the cheapest food to live off of is eggs. A dozen eggs can last you a week and you get the protein you need.
Mac N Cheese plus tuna: Tuna Casserole. :)

that's what I've been eating...
it does suck... but better than ramen noodles...
I splurged yesterday and got 2 jr. double bacons
at wendy's B| but that was just to get my head out
of the "fine sandwhiches" .... the jalapenos was just me
attempting to be creative...

hrmmm.... I'm hungry....

1 box mac-and-cheese
1 can tuna
1 C frozen peas

Make mac-and-cheese
add drained tuna and peas
cook until peas are thawed

Presto -- instant tuna casserole, and it tastes just fine as the inevitable leftovers.

There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)

For a long time weighlifters would only eat that crap... and only out of a can. I tried it for several months and didn't gain any mass quicker than just breakin down and going to the gro. store and making paper sack lunches right after I eat b-fast (I make two in case I get really hungry).

Check out what the big gro store chains got... I can buy those big microwaveable beef and chicken fajita packs at HEB. You can get some tortillas and make enough fajita wraps with them ahead of time. Stick em in your fridge to last a while (3 days max). Just gotta zap them for 10 seconds or eat them cold (the soft thin tortillas work well for that).

That stuff is good, too Wendy! Also if you have a lot of saltine crackers you can crush them up on the side, then just cook the noodles by themselves, mix the peas in and layer the cracker mix on top in a pyrex dish then bake in an oven (bake til brown). I sometimes put Tony Cashiere spice up in there to give it some kick... makes for good eatin' B|

If that fails, there's Taco Bell :D

Make whole wheat toast first. Put tuna on the toast with a little Louisiana Hot Sauce and cover with one slice of cheese. Zap everything in the microwave until the cheese melts. Cool and eat. Sounds terrible, but it is good.
Do your part for global warming: ban beans and hold all popcorn farts.

If you can spare change for provolone cheese... it tastes good when melted on toast and the tuna is used as a spread. You can also throw in chopped boiled eggs too to give it a protein kick. Although if you haven't consumed protein before in one sitting... you gonna be busy in your bathroom for a while.
