sunnydee123 0 #1 September 25, 2004 I just wanted to drop a note to all before we lose power saying although I don't have much of a house left after Frances, please say a prayer for me and everyone else in the path of this new hurricane. It's a smaller storm but packing a much more powerful kick and we can't take much more in this area. I am "hunkered down" with the friends who have taken me in until my house is rebuilt and just PRAYING that after this passes, I still have my outside walls and partial roof. Other words that is waiting for another visit from the insurance company and who knows how long until I have a place to all home again. I can not believe the year we have had storm wise. It is crazy...absolutely crazy! So be safe all and to those who have been my shoulders and support after Frances, big hugs to you until we talk again. xo, Denise Dreams become reality, one choice at a time... skymama 37 #5 September 25, 2004 Stay safe, Denise. My dad just came over and boarded up my house again because the track is supposed to go over my area. I hope you don't have any more damage to your house, you need a break! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
AirCav 0 #6 September 25, 2004 I hear ya Sunny. It looks like Martin/St. Lucie countys are going to take it the shorts again. My house in Orlando got hit by both Charley and Frances. The house in Stuart was hit by Frances and now looks like Jeane is about to do her thing on me again. Stay low and good luck through this one.GW685,D3888,C5052,SCS843

I came out OK on the previous hurricanes. Looks like this one is going to do some damage here in North Miami. Got everything secured that I can. I've packed a bag and will be standing by in the ER tonight. I'm guessing I'll be without power and and off the air for a while. Good luck to all! Stacy 0 #8 September 25, 2004 I just took my parents to tampa airport. they were supposed to leave tomorrow afternoon, but cut the trip short due to Jeanne coming for a visit. They are supposedly shutting TPA down after 9:30 this evening, and they got on the last delta flight outta there. Be tthat will be a bumpy flight! sigh. the way this season is going, it's cheaper for me to sell my gear and just rent it when there isn't a hurricane. I'll probably be headed to work again this evening until monday. __
TheAnvil 0 #9 September 25, 2004 I hate all hurricanes! Except those of the Patty O variety. What the hell is going on this year? Charley, Fances, Ivan, and now Jeanne. All bent on screwing the skydiving world. Skymama, fix this immediately!Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!! Rdutch 0 #11 September 25, 2004 Dammit, stupid hurricanes cost me a hug. Ive met you a ton of times and the one time I get an offer for a hug mother nature screwed it up. I guess it was fate. I even tried talking chris into having the first ever backwards swooping contest. Of course I would just watch and leave that for the pro's. Me and you could sit back and drink beer while your boyfriend and everyone else swooped the course flying backwards. Who needs Nascar this would have been the best spectator sports event ever. Once again I blame this all on Paige, we havent had a hurricane season like this ever, Paige moves to Florida and the same month we get hit by 3. Also her old dz has a record for tornados. Just as a test Id like to send her to California, I bet it would fall into the ocean. Heck even when she was in sebastian visiting the winds were crazy. Worse thing is she cant skydive right now, so manifesting and drinking a beer wont help. Since there rescheduling the swoop meet, can we reschedule my hug? Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!
Greene 0 #12 September 25, 2004 Oh! We forgot to tell you, Paige is a demon :) We have not had a tornado since since she moved to Florida. Evil woman, I can tell you that! Miss you Paige, but you can stay in Florida, and hopefully you might be the one protecting our little, tiny tiny trailer in Lake Wales. Out of 20 some trailers, there are 5 left, ours included. Page, can you protect it from Jeanne? Please ask Carrie, Luis, you, and Melaine to send special vibes for our little trailer, still standing at Lake Wales, which is now a storage shed for all in the trailer park that could salavage anything. Love ya all Lee & Jim Skydive Greene County
jmpnkramer 0 #13 September 26, 2004 As Alwayd Denise if you need anything just let me know. I have room at my place if ya'll just need to get away for the weekend. Then again A getaway would most likely be out of Florida. I feel for you and all the people that have been devestated by these damn storms. I mean the pictures cannot show the destruction enough. Take Care Dear. I apologize for not calling this time but I was thinking about you. It is just to sad of a thought that you could lose even more. Laters, .The REAL KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER! TheAnvil 0 #14 September 26, 2004 You might also blame it on TheAnvil, who also moved to Florida recently... ...but then again, I doubt anyone has ever seen a JACKASS do a hurricane dance. Since Paige is a hot chick, she can probably do a hurricane dance if she wants to... Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!! Dagny 0 #15 September 26, 2004 Denise, I'm hoping for the best for you and your friends. I was so sorry to read about the destruction you had from Frances. I sincerely hope that you get through without much more damage. I don't know what I can offer you, but if you need any help or if I can do anything, please let me know. I'll be there to help you clean up if you need it, just say the word. And, my roommate told me about the RW suit you gave her...she said it was one of the few things that didn't get soaked in your house during Frances. I think you are a very generous person and I want you to know that I really appreciate that about you. Even when you're down, you give. That's damn cool. Be safe.Take me, I am the drug; take me, I am hallucinogenic. -Salvador Dali
