ltdiver 3 #1 July 28, 2004 So, get this....the show "Extreme Makeover-Home Edition" showed up in town this week! I've seen a couple of the shows, however a co-worker is a die-hard fan of this young man....got a picture just for her today. Think she'll like it? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
Guest #2 July 28, 2004 ...mmm...Lori, my initial bias was 'no', but this is TV. I say give it a chance. PM me for reasons. mh /"The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."

ltdiver 3 #4 July 28, 2004 My co-worker was the one who sent me on the mission to get a pic of Ty. :^) (she knows the picture stuff I do on weekends and the quality of the camera I tote around). Got to say, Ty is a very personable individual, taking over an hour to meet and greet people, sign autographs, have pictures taken with anybody,...even chat for a few on cell phones of fans to other fans on the other end. The house, btw, is supposed to be unveiled tomorrow. Don't know the entire story of the recipient....however, the story goes that it is for a family with a child with a rare form of heart disease. The child must be kept in a germ-free, dust-free environment for his/her health. I was impressed. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
Guest #5 July 28, 2004 I was going to remark that the chap is quite the Cali stud...yet, there is a look to him that isn't Hollywood. I hope the girl copes. Heaven knows that health issues can be a real binder. mh ."The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."
skymama 37 #6 July 28, 2004 We love that show in my house! They always do seem to pick deserving people. Last week, they redid the house of a family of 8 kids who lost their parents to hearts attacks within 2 weeks of each other AND they paid off the mortgage for them. It's amazing what they can do in a week! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

ltdiver 3 #11 July 29, 2004 Just got back home from the unveiling of the Redlands, CA home that received the gift this week from Extreme Makeover. There were over 1,500 spectators present for the presentation! (largest support crowd they'd ever had in their 18 makeovers!) Go Redlands!! What a fantastic job that crew did with the house! And the family was awestruck. A desert oasis setting with fountains streaming over rocks, palm trees, sculptured sand and native desert plants. A Spanish style theme. Can't wait to see the episode on tv (and get to see the inside of the house finally). Probably be a couple of months, I guess. Did get to see one item of interest before they carried it into the house....a life size bucking bull ride! Ty even got on a played 'ride-'em cowboy' before they disappeared back inside! Got a standing ovation for that one!! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
ltdiver 3 #12 July 30, 2004 Wow! What a story. I know the doctor who performs the miracle for this heart condition. And here's the story of the Grinnan's House Makeover. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

ltdiver 3 #15 September 27, 2004 Just got done watching this week's episode as well. Normally I don't get choked up on a tv story, but this one was real and brought tears several times. Just when I think Ty and his group are in it for the glory, they do something wonderful like this. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
