Hazarrd 1 #1 September 29, 2004 So I'm a junior in college right now at a school in boston. I just found out I'm ahead a semester. Im looking for an internship to have for next summer. Something preferably to do with my major (Economics and Finance). Anyone work for a company that hires interns? Thanks .-.
wingnut 0 #2 September 29, 2004 you can come work for the "company" that iwork for... they have a pretty extensive finance division.... only problem is you would need 4 years instead of one semester...lol.........would need a few other qualifications to like a physical, enlistment and all that ther crap...lol...... sorry i'm no help.... ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version"
AggieDave 6 #3 September 29, 2004 Sounds cool, but I heard the coroporate dress code at your company is really off. You can't wear business casual on fridays and don't even think about having any facial hair...--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." WFFC 1 #4 September 29, 2004 Hmmmm...Dress code here says that I have to be wearing one article of clothing while participating in a conference call. Doesn't say which one either.----- ~~~Michael

skydiver30960 0 #6 September 29, 2004 Remember the Seinfeld episode where Kramer had an intern? I think the company's name was Kramerica, wasn't it? Well, I could offer you the same sort of deal here. You could come over, do my laundry, cook my meals, make arrangements for me to hang out with my friends, etc. Given that you're in business/economics you'd get a great exposure to defecit spending, shady business practices, and build up an awesome resistance to molds and fungus that would be very helpful in any developing nation you may visit in the future. Please forward me a resume with references if you are interested. Yours; Elvisio "CEO, LVCO Enterprises" Rodriguez
Icon134 0 #7 September 29, 2004 I don't agree, I dress down on fridays... but I agree about the facial hair... that's just annoying... we do get all kinds of vacation time... but like wingnut said they don't really do the intern thing. when he graduates if he still can't find work then he should consider the "management" side of our field...
