VanillaSkyGirl 6 #7 September 30, 2004 That's funny, many people prefer the landing area at Elsinore. It has a huge landing area (3 landing areas, actually) and has many outs, as well. Unlike Perris, the landings can be done in any direction, too. I love jumping at either DZ, and, of course, I miss both my Elsi and Perris sky family. I was stating what is true for most people who jump at Perris. Most people land on the grass and must land crosswind sometimes. Seriously, the landing area at Elsinore is quite safe, as well. I have been aching to jump, I flew over Elsinore on approach to Long Beach some weeks ago and I switched frequencies to say hi. Was quite surreal, I learned to jump and fly there and there I was flying over her in a Gulfstream...I was still giggling like a schoolgirl...minus the outfit of course! I will give Dave a ring...does he like any sweets, maybe I can sneak him in something! Maybe PM me with yours and his numbers? YAY!!! miss you bunches!
