...next weekend? i'm trying to find a relatively cheap hotel somewhere in the downtown area, but a lot of places have no rooms available next sunday (oct 10) night... i know sdc is having cheap jumps, but i didn't think it would be this popular!

i appreciate the offer! but, the missus and meself are going to see the blue man group on sunday night and we're heading back to the best coast monday morning, so the plan was to jump all day saturday, then head in to town sunday morning and leave from there.

Blue man group is awesome! I got to see them free when I was a student in boston. The theater where they were playing had a deal for students, if you bring 10 or more people to help set up and clean up you see the show free.

Pretty kickass, I must say. We had fun finding glow-in-the-dark paint on us later.

I would recommend trying Priceline, but then again, Andy's parents had trouble using their Canadian credit cards on their web site. We ended up having to use our credit card (with US billing address) to reserve the room.

There's an okay Days Inn in Lincoln Park that is really close to the Briar Street Theatre...

Try Orbitz.com I usually stay right downtown in a 4 star hotel for about motel 6 prices by going through them. Plus it is pretty much within walking distance of what ever you might need.
