Will_I_Am 0 #1 October 2, 2004 Tonight at Safeco Field in Seattle, Ichiro Suzuki breaks George Sisler's record of 257 hits in a regular season with base hits in back to back at bats in front of the home crowd and Sislers daughter was there to cheer him on. Amazing ball player! Look out for him to break Pete Rose's all time hits record. For $20 I'll call the guy a CHICKENFUCKER!
FallinWoman 1 #2 October 2, 2004 What an amazing feat! So many of the recent records that have been broken have been broken by assholes or by people who clearly are on performance0enhancing drugs that I am rarely impressed. Ichiro did it for real....and with grace. What a great day for baseball!!! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!
tunaplanet 0 #3 October 2, 2004 Afterwards Ichiro Sazuki expressed his feelings about breaking the elusive record in a press conference. The reporters would have been blown away by the moving speech if only they could understand what the fuck he was saying All-time hit record? You're jumping a tad bit ahead of yourself. Let's not crown him just yet. He has a long ways to go. Forty-two

Kramer 0 #5 October 2, 2004 QuoteAmazing ball player! Look out for him to break Pete Rose's all time hits record. He might be too old to get this record. He's like 27 or something already, 'cause he played several years of pro in Japan. Either way, congrats to Ichiro, very one-of-a-kind player! The FAKE KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER!!!!!!!!! I'm not a fan, so I haven't been paying attention to the local press about Ichiro except in passing. Now I regret it mh .
Will_I_Am 0 #7 October 2, 2004 You're right, he does have a very long way to go before he can touch Pete Rose. But I would have to say, not only based on his performance this season, but since he's come into the league, he is the one with the ultimate possibility to do it. He is the best pure hitter in the game. But then again, that is just my opnion. But you're right Tuna. He does have a very long way to go. But ultimate record or not, you have to hand it to the man for breaking a record that has stood for 84 years. For $20 I'll call the guy a CHICKENFUCKER! slug 1 #8 October 2, 2004 Hi Mark I'm not a fan either, But I sure wish I had a shipping container of Ichiro bobbing head dolls to export. Probably even get a cut rate on shipping due to the one way traffic across the Pacific on the container ships. Go Ichiro!!!!!!
