HELP!! Will I fit in this container!?

Recommended Posts

Hello my friends! I have a super serious question. I was looking at an aerodyne system which included an Icon Sport with a 168 Pilot and a 168 Smart reserve, and I **GASP** found the exact one used with 49 jumps on it. The question that i have is that if the container was made for a man 5ft 7in, with a slightly larger chest and very similar hip to throat measurement, and me being 6ft 1in with similar weights and hip measurements, would the rig fit me as well? Its an Icon Sport from 06, What would be the potential problems I could face?

Try it on. It's by no means outside the realm of possible. But you really, really have to try it on, because it's also not in the realm of almost certain.

There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)

Ask your friendly, neighborhood rigger - or gear dealer - to measure you as if you were ordering a new Icon.
FAX that order form to Aerodyne along with the serial number of the (second hand) Icon you are considering buying.
Ask Aerodyne how much they would charge to re-size that harness to fit you.
