Weekend numbers..

:)
What, no Florida folks to tell what a great weekend we had skydiving? Clear skies all weekend! I guess we are all crashed out after jumping all day long both sat and sunday, and celebrating our airtime after our awful September!!!

:)
11:Alysse and I each had 11 skydives, some 4 way with HeatherB and Skybrat (Paige) was great fun, and a bunch of organized loads with RoyJr and Drew....with Brothermuff65, Happythoughts, and many others....

1:Bought a case for jumping my new wings rig....forgot to take a photo of it to include in the 'show your wings' thread...

BTW, Alysse, HeatherB and I have been using Pilot canopies, they are nice, indeed!

Even though it was only 2, one was a demo jump into a football stadium for a homecoming game! That totally rocked the set... the swoop, the fans, the lights, the smoke, really was all that. Too much fun.

Two fun jumps Thursday after work - and two coach jumps Saturday afternoon, helping some newbies with fall rate.

Won a 50% off Wings certificate! Anybody know how long they're offering free cut-in laterals? And should I go for the stainless option?

Took my son Esau and daughter Sarah up to the Sears Tower on Sunday. Sarah and I spotted a good landing area from up there, a nice big field south of the building. We think it would be a cool movie stunt to do a double Birdman jump off the antennas.

Esau was busy trying to peer into windows with the telescopes.

Made chili, drank some Corona. Played Grand Turismo 3 with Esau.

Finally back up in the air after about 3 weeks due to weather, traveling, etc. Made a fun jump with my honey which I NEVER get to do, 2 FF jumps working on my HD, and an awesome BM jump with Zulu, LouDiamond, SM1 and BlueSBDeath. The jump was a memorial jump for the 75th Rangers (pics posted in the WingSuit Forum).

:D owed for first jump on my brand new custom Pilot 124 (all purple and white) and my first birdman camera jump!B|

I finally got to jump! Twice even in Sebastian. Hurricaines have been putting a cramp in my weekends here. Did a 13,500 Hop & Pop with 5 guys, great ride and view aside from the mess we could see. Did a "catch the sit-flyers" jump with someone and almost caught a 3 way sit group but then tracked away and just watched. Saturday was great!

1 case for first boogie, 1 for first visit to a new dz...

had a great time meeting the girls that visited and the staff and locals at Pell City - a fun bunch o' people ...

Not a single jump...been way too long...gonna be a while still.

But do I owe beer for learning how to drive a stick shift this weekend?? I had no idea it was that easy. 15 minutes after I started I was cruising the expressway! Over 50 miles on my first trip. I still wouldn't buy one while living in the city.

Did you try and use one while on a hill and trying to stay at a stop sign? Thats the true test of learning a stick shift. No sliding back more then about 6 inches or popping the clutch either ;)

2 days sleeping in:2:0

Went and blew off some dust. Felt good to be back in the air. 1 freefly and 1 attempted RW.

745 miles to rescue a friend whose motorhome broke down while driving back from the Byron Boogie.

I was supposed to go to West Plains for their Caravan Boogie.. but.. well.. friends are more important.

Oh well.. I will get plenty of jumps in in a couple weeks in Elsinore

You forgot your :D DD from Turtle. - Damn batteries.[:/]
Glad you made it ok.
I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama

I was told about that and my teacher was not patient enough to try to watch me go uphill.

No humps ...

6 jumps in total. 2 skydives made at the Moab boogie and 4 earth bound BASE jumps from two different exit points around Moab.

Beer could have been owed for my first earth bound BASE jumps, but wrong sport. :P

Drove 760 miles (120 to West Plains Skydiving on Friday, left DZ at 2:00 pm Saturday and drove 520 miles to Seattle & back for Mariner's game/Edgar Martinez retirement ceremony, arriving back at DZ at 4:00 am) and 120 home last night.
Made 8 jumps including 4 AFF's with our primary pilot who we stole away to a boogie for the weekend, 2 hybrid jumps, an 8 way, and a nice 15-way to finish the weekend.
Didn't owe any beer, but took a case anyhow.

In the old days the driving instructor used to take your watch and place it behind the rear wheels as an encouragement not to slip backwards when doing a hill start with a stick shift...
