Kramer 0 #1 October 2, 2004 Congrats to Mike Swanson, Rook Nelson, and Jon Devore, members of Alchemy (63.4) for winning the freefly event at Nationals this year. Spaceland Anomaly (59.2) repeated in 2nd place, and Guano (54.1) improved to 3rd this year. You guys all rock, and I'm very jealous. The FAKE KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER!!!!!!!!! quade 4 #2 October 3, 2004 Man, you don't know the half of it. Or, at least, you're not tellin' the half of it. A couple of days ago, Mike was swooping the grass at Perris, which is, to say the least, a little uneven and seemed to catch his foot somewhere along the line. His ankle swelled up to the size of a softball and it really didn't look good. Rook gave him a piggyback ride to a van and off he went to the hospital. Saturday he hobbled onto the drop zone on crutches and taped up, but said since nothing was actually broken . . . he was going to jump anyway. Yeah . . . they rock pretty hard.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

Kramer 0 #4 October 3, 2004 That's pretty hardcore. Was he still landing his napkin during competition, or did he upsize to something for his ankle? The FAKE KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER!!!!!!!!!

ltdiver 3 #7 October 3, 2004 QuoteSaturday he hobbled onto the drop zone on crutches and taped up, but said since nothing was actually broken . . . he was going to jump anyway. Like I deduced, it wasn't broken, just badly sprained. They were the hit of the awards ceremony tonight as well. Just got back from it with some pretty awesome pictures. Here's one of Alchemy. :^) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
Judit 0 #8 October 4, 2004 Congratulations it's absolutely awesome! Alchemy is the BEST anyway but looking at all the injuries that occurred recently proves it even more so. Alchemy ROCKS!!! Levin 0 #9 October 4, 2004 anyone know why the flyboyz or arizona freeflight haven't competed for the past couple of years?
Judit 0 #10 October 5, 2004 Well, I've got an idea but if anyone knows it otherwise or more information go ahead. Flyboyz kind of broke up - they mainly organize events now and travel to various boogies to organize. Same with Arizona Freeflight, Omar is in Europe a lot painting, travelling and doing other things, Curtis is still competing and I don't know anything about Tim. I don't think either team will compete in the same setup how they used to be. Take risks not to escape life but to prevent life from escaping
kallend 2,150 #11 October 5, 2004 It's a pity Alchemy couldn't attend the World meet. I doubt there would have been a French 1-2-3 if they had been there.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
