Mount St. Helens erupting right now!!

I would rather think it be nice to see some humanitarianism rather than disaster.

But people just don't like good things.[:/]
I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama

It's nice to see some Breaking News that is just a natural disaster rather than a sociological disaster

Hmm. I guess it _has_ been a couple of days since we've had any breaking news of tornadoes, earthquakes or hurricanes here in the US...;)

Good point. If the trend keeps up, Cali peeps better prepare for landslides and fire in addition more earthshakin', anyone next to the Mississippi start filling sandbags now, and anyone North of the M-D line, stock up on winter blizzard gear.

Geez. Does anyone live anywhere that's not a target for natural disaster?

you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Ugh. You said "moist". I hate that word.

Hmm now what kind of moist are YOU thinking about...>:(

Doesn't matter. The word alone icks me out.

Now, certain situations involving warmth and increasing wetness I have NO problem with whatsoever! :)

One of the things I like about this area (mid-atlantic). We don't get many. Edges of hurricanes no worse than a tropical storm. Occasionally a couple feet of snow that melts a couple days later. One or two tornadoes a year for the whole region. No earthquakes, not that anyone without a butt load of geological survey equipment knows about anyway. Worst we get around here are ice storms taking down some power lines and localized flooding.

It happens all of the time, but you'll never see it.
Like the lady here who makes sure that NO grade school kid goes to the first day of school without the supplies suggested on the class sheet.

Can you imagine making arrangements for 3400 kids to get pens, paper, scissors, crayons, SHOES!

As someone who grew up 80 miles from the mountain, that's no eruption! That's just a steam vent, venting.

If that mountain erupts....everyone will know...just like they did last time.

BTW, I remember that day like it was yesterday.
