I guess it _has_ been a couple of days since we've had any breaking news of tornadoes, earthquakes or hurricanes here in the US... My wife is hotter than your wife. If the trend keeps up, Cali peeps better prepare for landslides and fire in addition more earthshakin', anyone next to the Mississippi start filling sandbags now, and anyone North of the M-D line, stock up on winter blizzard gear. PhillyKev 0 #17 October 1, 2004 QuoteQuoteGeez. Does anyone live anywhere that's not a target for natural disaster? Botswana? ----------------- One of the things I like about this area (mid-atlantic). We don't get many. Edges of hurricanes no worse than a tropical storm. Occasionally a couple feet of snow that melts a couple days later. One or two tornadoes a year for the whole region. No earthquakes, not that anyone without a butt load of geological survey equipment knows about anyway. Worst we get around here are ice storms taking down some power lines and localized flooding.
