Viking 0 #1 October 5, 2004 This is a pictures of a picture. The original 4x5 neg was shot by my late father while he was going to Photography school. I shot this picture for my Commercial photography class just today. I got to use a $20k Phase 1 digital "film" back. JohnRich 4 #2 October 5, 2004 I don't know anything about professional photography, but with a $20,000 camera, couldn't you find something better to take a picture of than a pile of washers?

turtlespeed 226 #5 October 5, 2004 Those look like the washers that come with the neptune.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

Brian425 0 #7 October 5, 2004 You cut the top off the wine bottle. Were you drinking the wine before takin the picture? I only see half a bottle. Actually nice stuff. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
Viking 0 #8 October 5, 2004 i cut the top off on purpose.I swear you must have footprints on the back of your helmet - chicagoskydiver My God has a bigger dick than your god -George Carlin

Viking 0 #10 October 5, 2004 in a way i guess. the bottle is VERY tall and the glass is a tiny (half the size of my hand) dessert wine glass. kind of a way to show how big it is that it won't fit.I swear you must have footprints on the back of your helmet - chicagoskydiver My God has a bigger dick than your god -George Carlin
girlygirl 0 #11 October 5, 2004 it's nice but I like the interesting angles/ shadows in washers better

Zee 0 #15 October 5, 2004 Have you tried making any double exposures yet, V? They're a lot of fun and the results can be pretty wild. I took this one a few years ago - The first exposure is of two friends doing a sit exit from the Otter at the WFFC. For the second exposure I took a shot straight up in to a balloon while the burner was firing. They're a lot of fun to experiment withDouble X Peace, Z Action©Sports
Viking 0 #16 October 6, 2004 I'v been going to school working for my AA degree in it for 4 1/2 years now. lol but i'v been into photography my whole life. I'll have to scan the shot from the first assignment when i get home.I swear you must have footprints on the back of your helmet - chicagoskydiver My God has a bigger dick than your god -George Carlin
Viking 0 #17 October 6, 2004 i shot it with a digital back so i saw the picture within 10 seconds of clicking the shutter. I honestly liked the way it looks without the top of the bottle so i left it out.I swear you must have footprints on the back of your helmet - chicagoskydiver My God has a bigger dick than your god -George Carlin

Zee 0 #19 October 6, 2004 I know it can be a pain in the ass to come up with a good idea but hey, just look in the users manual for your camera or almost any photography book and often they'll give you some pretty neat ideas to try. I think the wine bottle picture would be a good one to play around with - Expose it over a shot of a waterfall or something. Might be fun to experiment withPeace, Z Action©Sports
