burmite 0 #1 October 27, 2009 Here’s one I can’t seem to get the manufacturers to answer. On a harness IE main container harness ( not risers ) how much damage is ok?? I’ve heard that a broken strand is not ok and is ok. I’ve heard, I’ve heard, they say they say…..bla bla bla. Can anyone show in righting the answer. likestojump 3 #2 October 27, 2009 it's a very subjective question. When in doubt, I just send the HC to the manufacturer and let them give me their opinion after THEY inspect it.
buff 0 #3 October 29, 2009 Atair skydiving canopies: Cobaltdan is no longer with Atair. Atair sport website is no longer good for contact info and if you call the NY number, you get the military side with is a seperate company. I got ahold of Stane Krajnc, the Atair founder (basetroll.com) and he told me that his distributor in the US is now Morpheus. Called Kathy there and she stated that I can get a new slider from her and they are support for Atair now and it's okay to inform DZ.com of this. Atair support thru www.baserigs.comIt's called the Hillbilly Hop N Pop dude. If you're gonna be stupid, you better be tough. That's fucked up. NancyJ 11 #4 July 1, 2010 Technically, if there are broken fibers, you replace the affected portion of the harness (i.e. MLW, legstrap, horizontal, etc.)
