Kiddd 0 #1 October 20, 2009 Just had a few questions about this canopy... how safe is a 92 canopy? It's 17 years old but looks in good condition. If i use it, of course i'll have my rigger inspect it, just wondered what your opinion was. Also, can I use a PD 210 9 cell if I weigh 205, it says max weight 210, but with the rig on i know i'm over that. Just wondering if that plays into the whole "is it safe" thing too. pilotdave 0 #2 October 20, 2009 All of my answers depend on one question... Is it free? I would not recommend spending money on it. If it's in good shape it's probably "safe." But it will not flare well. If it's got more than a few hundred jumps on it, it'll flare even worse. If you've got a particularly heavy rig, even worse.
