God rest his soul. He seemed like a genuinely good man. I also think so highly of his wife -- their relationship appeared to be a true example of what marriage represents -- through better or worse. She showed such dedication to him and love for him.

The report I heard was that his death was caused by complications arising from his condition.

This morning in my EMT class the instructor mentioned that he significantly outlived the average post-injury lifespan for quadriplegia.

He was scheduled to be the keynote speaker at our state's EMS conference in November. Sorry to hear I won't be able to hear him speak.

That's good. I really enjoyed Reeve's original Superman movie. I'm afraid a new Hollywood version of the movie will be all special effects and crap for a story line as most Hollywood movies seem to be these days.
