Vallerina 2 #1 October 11, 2004 I want to go somewhere all by myself. I need to get away for a weekend. What do you do when you're in that state of mind? Where do you go? What has been one of your favorite getaways? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
eeneR 3 #2 October 11, 2004 Hiking....take off into some wonderful area and do some hiking...even if you stay in a hotel at night. Go to some place you have never been and take in the sites.. Hell i keep going back to the same place over and over...just because....but it really wouldnt be a weekend trip Thre is nothing more self centering, then going alone on a trip somewhere.... Vallerina 2 #10 October 11, 2004 That's darn cool, Renee! I didn't know weather.com had something like that! It looks like Brown County is just "patchy" right now, but I'll probably still go there. It's been way too long since I've been there. Plus, I still want to go to Purdue Saturday night to go dancing with my girls! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

flyangel2 2 #14 October 11, 2004 I go backpacking when I need to get away. I just went about a month ago. Loaded up the dogs and away we went. Only ran into two other people the whole weekend.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey

gravityizsexy 0 #20 October 11, 2004 camping!!! find or buy a nice little 1 bdrm comfortable tent ($50) and hang out with nature for the weekend... Nothing like being self-sufficient to get through the "too much stuff is going down that doesn't really require my presence" times... bring food, snacks, computer, a gun (if you have one) ummm..... perhaps a little pot if you get down, or even if you don't. You don't even have to stay the weekend... Just one-night it. I guarantee when you wake up... you'll feel like you just bought some new skin. Thats how I do it anyway... it's sorta cheap, if you already have a tent... get at least 45min-2 hours away from your house to get the full affect. -Tony "'Someday is not a day in my week'"

Unstable 9 #24 October 12, 2004 I get like that occasionally. If I really need time off for myself, I simply won't plan anything - Just hop in the car and off I go somewhere. I think last time that happened, I wound up at Freefall Express for a few days. I think I'll be needing one of those here pretty shortly...=========Shaun ==========
freeflynNicki 0 #25 October 12, 2004 well, if any consilation, i'm in the same boat...life becomes sooo sometimes and seemingly "out of control" ~ camping works for me as well; the best though (for me) is to just go. pack a warm outfit and one for the cold, grab your dog(S) and hit the road; don't stop until either something has cought your attn. or you're simply too tired to go on. sometimes you just need a change of scenery. feel better.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PMS#269 Team Dirty Sanchez#
