funks 1 #1 October 14, 2004 Just noticed something weird on my office computer....i was starting to wonder why certain websites had not been updated in a while, the same stories had been there for 2 weeks....today i noticed the dates on the websites and a handful of them say the date is 10/5/04...these are major sites that i am seeing this on (msnbc.com, etc....) There is a group of about 5 websites i normally go to that are all saying the date is the 5th... is it possible for my network admin to freeze access to these sites and that is why i am not seeing fresh updates???? CrazyIvan 0 #2 October 14, 2004 Nope, you are looking at "cached" pages, clear your browser cache and also change the settings to get the contents from the pages everytime you visit the site__________________________________________ Blue Skies and May the Force be with you. flyingferret 0 #5 October 14, 2004 It is possible if your ISA server uses page caching. We turned it off, because it never worked well. Try hitting CTRL + F5, to ask your browser to refresh, there is a setting in the browser on when to recheck the page.-- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.
