How much do you make?

Recommended Posts

Ok, I'm sure we're all curious. So since this poll can be as anonymous as you want it to be, let's find out what the stats on skydivers' gross (before tax) income is. No point in being dishonest since noone will know you said one thing or the other.

This should be interesting.

Now what percentage of that monet goes to skydiving related stuff.

Approximately 5% of my yearly income goes into skydiving, including travel expenses, and I make about 75 jumps a year, while at the same time making house mortgage and car payments. Luckily my wife works too or I would only afford about 15 to 25 jumps a year and no air fare or long trips... :P

no idea... i try not to think about things that way... it makes me worry more about the money and less about what it allows me to do...

I bet you'll find that people will be more willing to tell you about their sex lives than how much money they make. That they save for those with whom they are intimate.:P
Shit happens. And it usually happens because of physics.

Doctors make $3-400K.

I'd hate to be a doctor making $3 a year. ;)

That's all I get as a volunteer gynecologist.

I'm not a real doctor (if you mean education and such), but I play one in bars. Drinks are about $3. If they have a problem, buy me a drink, I'll look into it for ya (so to speak ;)).

well, I do make a few bucks for the occasional jump ticket by selling pin necklaces and skydiver teddy bears. I have people send me photos of their jumpsuits/rigs, and make jumpsuits/rigs for teddy bears to match as close as I can. It isn't great money, of course, but it does pay for jump tickets every so often.

The IRS is probably scanning IP addresses as we speak to see if all that income is declared.

That is the closest thing to a normal distribution I have ever seen in any poll on this site.

I agree Dave. Hellofa nice standard distribution.

I'm also a student living on loans and less (some of the loans also go towards household bills to make up for the fact that I'm not working).
