quesera 0 #1 October 11, 2009 Okay, obviously I am newwww to skydiving (I'm on jump 10). I want to buy my own jumpsuit, but I got quickly overwhelmed looking at websites. Currently, I don't really care about much except a little warmth and some grass stain prevention, but I don't want to buy something that I quickly "out grow" because it doesn't have the features I find I suddenly need. I'm at the "I don't know what I don't know" stage, but also at "I want to stop wearing other people's fear-sweat soaked clothes" phase Anyway, I'm female, approximately 130 lbs, and can probably assume I won't be doing anything too fancy. I would like to stay in a moderate price range, and I've found that the jumpsuits at the drop zone have a major gap between sizes, making the small kind of tight but the medium huge. Does anyone sell jumpsuits in the 2/4/6/8 sizing? Thanks for any advice! And sorry for such a newbie question
 airtwardo 7 #2 October 12, 2009 Quote Okay, obviously I am newwww to skydiving (I'm on jump 10). Look through the classifieds on this site, you may get lucky...um maybe I should rephrase that. Hands down the best looking jump suit especially for a girl. He really takes the time with the details. You can probably have one in just a few weeks. www.liquidskysports.com Forget about any pre made jump suit. I guarantee you won't be happy. Be on guard for the RASH of people pushing specific brands. RW - you want a custom fit with all the comp features right away since it's not great to add them later. Lots of good vendors out there. I think buying from a localis a great idea. If there is one. But there is nothing wrong with any of the major dealers, so it comes down then to cut, price and delivery time. FreeFly - you can get away with a used one for awhile as the fit isn't such a big deal until you get more experience (and some people never get to that point). Get the custom RW right away, you can use a simple coverall for FF until you are ready to make that step later. ... Hands down the best fit for a small female frame that shows off your curves! Her prices have stayed moderate for the 12 years I've been selling gear. I've had 3 of her suits. Still have the original I got 15 years ago. I can't get rid of it, like my favorite pair of worn in jeans ;) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
