TaeKwonDoDo 0 #1 October 7, 2003 Anyway - I'll state my bias right up front - not only do I love the service, but I'm making a killing on this stock (NFLX - paid for my and my daughter's AFF many times over - consider this my disclosure that I do own this stock). So I don't fall too "in love" with the stock - because I use it the service and just love it, I figured the best way to find out a more "unbiased" view would be to take a poll and see how the average joe/jane rents movies. (Flaw in thinking - is anyone here average???) - Jeff "That's not flying, it's falling with style."
indyz 1 #2 October 7, 2003 I used NetFlix. I had no problem with the service. Always received my movies promptly. Their library of DVDs is excellent. I ended up cancelling my subscription because it turns out that I don't watch a lot of movies. It would be perfect for somebody who rents 6+ DVDs a month, though. Gawain 0 #3 October 7, 2003 QuoteSo I don't fall too "in love" with the stock Roth cut NFLX to "neutral" and targets $39...albeit that's a revised target from $30...so, stay "in love"...subscriber growth is quite strong... So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! DTOXX 0 #5 October 7, 2003 I really like Netflix. I am sure I don't watch enough movies to save much but the hassle of getting the movie and taking it back at a brick & mortar makes this mail service great. The selection is amazing also. Well exept when my wife gets on her "movies with morals" kick. ------- D.T. Holder SIMstudy
PhillyKev 0 #6 October 7, 2003 Love it...I pretty much stopped renting movies because I was banned from so many rental places for being late all the time. Then I got a DVD and NetFlix, which caused me to buy a whole home theater set up. Now I watch a couple movies a week and almost no regular TV.

wingnut 0 #9 October 17, 2004 i use blockbuster's movie pass... aboiut the same money as netflix but the store is right around the corner from my house and lets say i watch two movies... like i did last night and nowi would have to wait for them to be returned and then two more be sent back.. with blockbuster i just walk 1 block, go tot he store and in 15 minutes (longer if i'm being picky on wat kind of movie) and i'm back home with new movies to wacth...... maybe if i lived 30 minutes froma blockbuster i would go netflix, but heck even my parents house has a blockbuster close by now that it wouldn't take that long to get to.....(back 5 years ago the closest blockbuster was a 40 minute drive) ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version"
