Jkralovec 0 #1 October 8, 2009 I am ordering some freefly pants from Tony Suits!!! Wahoo! I am having some trouble with the Short Z measurement. Umm...should I measure straight down over and below the goods or cup those suckers, move them to the side and pull the tape up as high as I can? I've never measured myself before. Thanks! skybytch 273 #2 October 8, 2009 QuoteI've never measured myself before. Key piece of advice if you'd really like them to fit - don't do that. You will not get accurate measurements in several key areas if you measure yourself. Find somebody, anybody, to measure you. Be sure they use a soft measuring tape (not the one out of your toolbox). Have them take each measurement twice, three times if the first two don't agree. Leave the package hanging and measure down over and below it. And be sure to wear and measure over whatever you usually wear under your jumpsuit; measure in your tighty whities and you may not like the fit with shorts (much less winter layers) later. Or better yet, find a Tony Suit dealer and order through them. They should be able to measure you correctly.

DougH 270 #4 October 9, 2009 My camera suit fits much better than my RW suit. The RW suit was measured for by my girlfriend. The camera suit I went right down there and ordered in person. rehmwa 2 #6 October 12, 2009 Quote Call the Tony Suit shop and ask any questions you have. They are very helpful. again, the winner response call the dealer directly, stop asking people on forums when you can go straight the source or, you can go ahead and measure yourself, and 'guess' what the measurement instructions mean, my wife is a suitmaker, and it's a great piece of business she gets from resizing suits from other manufacturers when they get them build wrong (due to the buyer screwing it up as well as just errors) - spending cash for me it's amazing how detailed you can describe the measurements and people still will find a way there's also no way to know if that tape measure has shrunk or stretch relative to the tailor that will build your suit....only way to avoid that is to have the person measuring you be the same person that builds the suit ... Driving is a one dimensional activity - a monkey can do it - being proud of your driving abilities is like being proud of being able to put on pants
Jkralovec 0 #7 October 13, 2009 Yes, I understand. Still, I was hoping to hear from people that measured themselves and ask how thir suits fit. I'll call TONY. Until then, I'll be jumping in sweatpants :D
