chuckbrown 0 #1 October 18, 2004 No kidding. It just flew over Harrisburg, Pennsylvania towards the northeast at around 1,500 feet. Yellow vertical stabilizer. Definitely was a B-17. Pretty cool. Wonder who it belonged to?

Check out Fuddy Duddy http://www.b17flyinglegend.com/survivors/ Fuddy Duddy returned home after traveling the country on the Salute to Veteran's Tour for EAA. Our flagship touched down at 1215 on October 14th and immediately turned to fly two rides for members of the media and selected local veterans. Safely in the hanger overnight, Fuddy will be flying paid rides on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Weather may be a problem, so Monday morning makeup rides are a possibility. On Monday, Fuddy will resume the National Salute to Veteran's tour, stopping next at Harrisburg, PA. Rides and ground tours are still available this weekend. See www.eaa.org, or call the Wings of Eagles Discovery Center, (607) 739-8200 for details. Reservations are still available for Saturday evening's member/guest dinner as well. Hope to see you! chuckbrown 0 #4 October 18, 2004 Yep, that's the one. Thanks for the info. The last time I saw a B-17 was about 6 years ago. We were on jump run and I looked out of the 182 and saw a B-17 flying down the Susquehanna River about 5,000 feet below us. Looking at those pictures I think it was Miss Angela (red vertical stab). I love those planes.
skydivingchad 0 #5 October 19, 2004 The B-17 was going to be at the Capitol City Airport on either mon. and tues or tues and wed. this week for a fundraiser. Think they would drop us over maytown?
