Skydiving in Houston is very good stuff. Both DZ's have VERY nice facilities but also VERY differen't flavors of clientel. Try both........see which one fits you! Oh......and enjoy the warm beautiful weather. I was in Houston a few days ago and the weather was ABSOLUTELY perfect!

I'll be doing a FJC out there, so I probably wont have the chance to visit them both... maybe next trip...leaving tomorrow afternoon for Waller, find a hotel in the close area. Then the FJC on Thursday, jump Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon...

As you are used to military accomodation and the reduced luxury coming with it you might think of sleeping at the DZ for free. They have plenty of room, a shower - what else do you need. Just don't use my weekend spot

I thought about that, but I have absolutely NO snivel gear... I'd be sleeping on the floor in my clothes!! I know there's supposed to be a hotel (little mom/pop place) right there in Waller... just have to swing by there and check it out. Otherwise, might go to Hempstead or .... or..... Tomball!! That was it... geez, why can't I ever remember that name?
