skygazer 0 #1 October 19, 2004 Did you say: "I'll NEVER eat that" "Gross" Or you fed it to the dog under the table? For me it was broccoli - avoided it until I was 30 and then found out how great it tastes! What was it for you?_______________________________________

kingbunky 3 #6 October 19, 2004 liver, until i found out that the way it's prepared amkes all the difference. my mom (a brit) cooked everything to death, she used a smoke detector for a timer in the kitchen. also brussel sprouts. nasty wee things. still don't like them much. and yoghurt. just the thought of it makes me gross out."Hang on a sec, the young'uns are throwin' beer cans at a golf cart." AggieDave 6 #7 October 19, 2004 I was the odd kid, I LOVED veggies growing up and still do. I honestly can't think of something that I didn't like as a kid that I like now. Some things have remained constant, for instance I don't like sea food.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Snowbird 0 #9 October 19, 2004 Onions! But that's because when I was little, my older brother told me 'those long white things in the chili aren't actually onions like mom says, they're really worms.' Of course I believed him! Why would he lie to me? And then I simply refused to eat onions, just in case. Vegemite = Even my dog won't eat it. Dumpster 0 #10 October 19, 2004 Liver - and any kind of internal organ my Mom would try to feed me. I'd either ditch it under the table and let the dogs eat it or just outright refuse, and would not give in. I sat at the table until Midnight sometimes. TheAnvil 0 #11 October 19, 2004 Brussel sprouts. I cannot even stand the smell of them. I would persevere through an assbeating and still not eat them. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
wmw999 2,583 #12 October 19, 2004 I won't do bugs, and I've tried enough tripe not to want to try it again. Yes, even the delicious menudo at the Mexican restaurant you (that's anyone who suggests it) say I have to try. I was omnivorous as a child, so there isn't anything on the "love it now - hated it then" list. Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. windcatcher 0 #13 October 19, 2004 caviar...tried it, really didn't like it, but then again it WAS pretty cheap caviar. Also, I keep trying to eat lima beans and beets, and drink regular soy milk, since I tend to eat healthy, but those three things are just icky!!! Oh well, maybe in 10 yrs. I'll like em! Also, habaneros, I told my dad I'd never eat one, but I am trying to turn my tastebuds on to hot and spicy things, so I'll let you know when I finally down an habanero...anybody wanna pay me to eat one? Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
livendive 8 #14 October 19, 2004 Guts. No tripe, no chitlins, no gizzards, no livers...no guts. Period. If it used to help a critter's poop production or filter nasty stuff out of the blood stream, I ain't eating it. Brussel sprouts suck ass. Anchovies and vegemite are disgusting. There may not be a worse smelling food than kimchi. I've never tried it and never will. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" Shotgun 1 #18 October 19, 2004 QuoteQuoteMarmite High five brother. Add vegimite to that as well. Vegemite is YUMMY! Even my cats love it! You have to eat it just right though - a thin spread on buttered toast, maybe with a fried egg or cheese on top. I wouldn't eat lettuce or tomato when I was a kid, but I like 'em both now... Not too many foods I won't eat, except for maybe bugs and brains and stuff like that... oh, and no oysters because they made me really sick once. And I'm not too keen on sushi, but I'll eat it...
