ChasingBlueSky 0 #1 October 20, 2004 Anyone else out there catch this? I was pissed when they canceled what was one of the better shows on TV at the time, esp with the way they ended it! While the four hours seemed rushed, esp the first two - I thought it was a great finale. All of the characters completed their stories, and it stayed true to the energy the show always had. It was great to see all of the actors fall right back into those characters as if they never missed a beat._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... Sure I did'nt understand a lot of the back story... but it was still very enjoyable. They rerun it during the week all the time, and now it is on DVD (both Blockbuster and Netflix carry it). Usually I just keep my Tivo set to record it. When I first show the show on SciFi 5 years ago, I told myself I wasn't going to watch some stupid puppet show and crossed it off. My roomates told me I needed to watch it since they knew my taste...and I never missed an episode after the first one I saw. John Chriton is one of the best SciFi characters ever created. Always fun to see the lovely Claudia Black gracing the small screen again, but I realized something when I was watching - she's even shorter than Ben Browder! mh . Amazon 7 #6 October 20, 2004 Sci Fi has been running all of the Farscape series for the last several weeks leading up to it. The Mini Series had some interesting twists... but was Chiana the same actress?? She moved different and her face looked a bit different. If they go on.. how are they going to ressurect D'Argo. I'll have to second your vote on John Crichton being one of the greatest sci-fi chracters as well. C'mon....you have to respect a character that can look miffed and embarrassed because he forgot his nuclear weapon in the elevator. The story arc was well done as well, I thought. It was interesting watching the band of strangers become family, but I'm still ticked off that Zhaan left the series. And the women...Claudia Black as Aeryn, Gigi Edgley as Chiana, Virginia Hey....yup, some nice eye-candy as well. When it first came out I almost wrote it off as a Muppets In Space series. They changed her eyes - that is why she looked different. From my understanding, this is it for the show. SciFi feels it costs too much to produce this show for the ratings it gets (which were always close to the SG1 ratings). Instead they feel that Battlestar and those cheap B-grade horror flicks they make are more worth the investment (they get about 2 million viewers on Sat night for those movies). Personally, I would cancel Ghost Hunters and Scare Tactics (why give Billy Baldwin a show?) and continue making Farscape. Anyone think that D'Argo has the knowledge of the wormholes??? In fact, the two parter that ends the season originally started as the movie they were going to make, which is why it is so polished. Maybe it should have - not having Jack as a full time character this season makes it a bit lame.
