bertusgeert 1 #1 October 20, 2004 I twisted my ankle a week ago. At the time it hurt like hell, but was OK in 10 minutes. For a week now it has just been there, kind of hard to walk on, occasionally giving me a jolt of pain. Can I run on it? Should I just be a bum until it recovers? AggieDale08 0 #2 October 20, 2004 I broke my ankle 4 years ago skateboarding, and was off of it for about 3 days. I started skating again a week later. I just had an air cast and ankle brace. No way I could twist it again. I was really young then so I healed quicker. No grief to this day. If it feels weak then I wouldn't do anything to physical. d_squared431 0 #4 October 21, 2004 The best thing to do is stay off of it for a few days and keep it up. I have torn the ligaments in my left ankle three times and decided against surgery. The third time I got some stuff at a health food store called arnica and not even three weeks I was back on the slops. The stuff works great and it is cheap.
