Guest #1 October 20, 2004 Yo, I've been working on some 3D stuff lately, which has kinda motivated me to take an inventory of all the machines I'm currently using, their OS and primary use, so here goes: Micron PIII-750 Win98 Running Bryce3D, RayDream5, Poser3, Blender, POV-Ray, Vue D'Esprit 3 PIII-750 laptop (IBM Thinkpad A20P) Suse 8.0 Pro / WinXP Running Realsoft3d / Most of the above Silicon Graphics / Intergraph ZX-10 PIII-750 Solaris 9 for single CPU (free download from Sun!) File Server HP Pavillion conversion to Micron PIII-750 (I liked the case) Win2k / XP General purpose Mac Powerbook G3 "Lombard" OS9 Portable Graphics / General purpose Mac G4 tower OS 10 / OS9 (emulation) Graphics This doesn't include miscellaneous computers, or the Beowulf I'm building in my garage (which will be quite the towering erection when it's complete - heh).
