VanillaSkyGirl 6 #1 September 3, 2004 Who here loves to dress up in costume, and who is going to dress up this year for Halloween? We were discussing this in another thread already. (It sounds like the Halloween FF boogie in Atlanta will be SMOKING this year! Personally, I am too shy to actually dress up in costumes in public. Maybe I will be inspired by all of you and YOUR costumes...
ladyskydiver 0 #2 September 3, 2004 Totally love dressing up in costume for Halloween (oh...and Ren Faire - bought a costume this year )! I've been everything from a mime to a "kitten" to a sex slave. If I can find some pics (that I like), I'll post 'em. Going to look... Edited to add Ren Faire comment and pics. EvilC&S - me and a friend - yes, I died my hair black for Halloween. Sex-slave - Yes, I didn't talk unless my mistress told me that I could...yes, I walked the appropriate number of steps behind my mistress...no, my mistress did not need to use the whip on me. Slavegirls - Ren Faire costume, and yes, the skirt was entirely see through (thank God for thongs); and yes, I did have a master (who luckily for me didn't push the master bit). Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that made you smile.

ChasingBlueSky 0 #4 September 3, 2004 My best one yet? "One Night Stand" I had a three legged doorway table hanging midchest. On the table top was an ashtray that had cigarettes full of lipstick, a bunch of condoms, a half empty tube of KY, a spatula, one knee high stocking, a clock radio, an empty bottle of Jack Daniels, and room for my drink. On my head I had a lampshade with a pull chain coming down, a thong and the other knee high on the shade and a bunch of glow sticks in it so it looked like it had a light turned on. The best part of that? Going to Wal Mart and buying the KY, Super Glu, Condoms and the spatula. I think I scared the girl at the register. The second best part? Sitting in my apartment with this stuff all across the floor along with the foam it took to keep the lampshade on my head....and my roommate brought his girlfriend over for the first time that night. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... It can be based on my personality a little, I guess. Relax, cutie! The reason I asked if you wanted people to know if it was you is to determine if you should paint your face or not. Suggestion - there are a number of semi-sexy feline outfits for women. Go with one that's a dress and is short (as short as your comfortable with), black high heels, make sure the top of the outfit is low-cut (show off that great cleavage), nylons - go with fishnet stockings or bare legs. If you go with bare legs, paint them with the appropriate markings of the feline you've chosen - actually any exposed skin paint. Wear your hair long and tossled - the just had an awesome romp in the bed kind of tossled. Long, black fingernails. Face - painted as the appropriate feline. Face makeup can take up to 3 hours to apply depending on how artistic you choose to get. When I did the feline outfit - don't have the pic scanned in or I would have posted it - the makeup alone took 3 hours but was 100% worth it. People will "know" you by your eyes or voice - if you choose to talk at first. Any other questions? If I get time this weekend, I'll dig around and see what I can come up with for costumes and PM them to you (want to keep people guessing - ).Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! They are expecting this year to be the largest in a while. It's our homecoming game on the 30th. So the old folk who come to the game will stick around one night for the halloween festivities. Last couple years it was like 25-30k people involved. Of course a costume as large as ours gets torn to shreds because a lot of drunk people are around. But that's the fun of it all. Oh I did forget to mention...we integrated two 2 liters of rum and coke into the actual support structure of the school bus and then ran pipes so we could suck the rum and coke out of them...What a design it was. :)--joe HISPA #69 The Best Band in the WORLD!!! A couple of questions - do you want people to KNOW it's you or do you want them to be guessing? Wth? (nervous laughter) I guess that depends on a couple of things...lol. Well, people don't have to know it's me. QuoteAlso, how sexy are you wanting to go? Well...since my BF will be around, I would want to be somewhat sexy. I don't want for it to be TOO revealing, though... Basically, I am asking you because I want to see how YOU see me. What costume can you envision me in, Cora?
 VanillaSkyGirl 6 #25 September 3, 2004 Yes, but the cat thing may be overdone, plus I may be out of town...so I don't want to spend tons of time doing that. I would totally go all out if I did...face paints and all. I am great at creating costumes (that used to be my job, sweetie...lol), but I am shy about what to wear. I want to see myself in a different light, you know?
 Prev 1 2 3 4 5 Next Page 1 of 5 Join the conversation You can post now and register later. ladyskydiver 0 #11 September 3, 2004 QuoteQuoteTotally love dressing up in costume for Halloween! I've been everything from a mime to a "kitten" to a sex slave. If I can find some pics (that I like), I'll post 'em. Going to look... I KNEW it, Cora...you sexy lady! I have to try to muster up the courage to be like you and to dress up really sexy this year. Go for it! You're sexy and adorable...why not? Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that made you smile. FlyingJ 0 #12 September 3, 2004 You want to see some crazy Halloween costumes, check out the Village Halloween Parade in NYC. For the last 5 years one of my best friends has had an apartment w/ wall to wall windows overlooking 6th Ave in the Village. Every year he has what starts as a small party, but gets bigger and bigger as participants in the parade see a great party pad and come back as they finish. I think my favorite costumes ever were a group of people that dressed up as Oompah-Loompahs in drag and with an S&M theme. It was just plain disturbing, but I loved it.Killing threads since 2004. VanillaSkyGirl 6 #13 September 3, 2004 QuoteI dunno if you know about the Chapel Hill Franklin Street Halloween parties but it's something worth seeing. Whoa...thanks, I just googled it. OMG...it has it's own website...lol! Anyhoo...your costumes sound AMAZING...& must take up a lot of space, too!!! I look forward to seeing the pics after Halloween. Cora ~ I was going to be a kitty-cat (perhaps a leopard) this year, but I want something more original. Do you have any suggestions?
