Food Product ideas

Recommended Posts

Allrighty, more product ideas, except from the last thread on this, my ideas need to be a new food product. ie. like a more convenient food, or a new way to store food....

I have a group project to do on this subject.

The Prof. rejected my idea of freezer-less ice cream because it was not possible....

and the instant coffee that tastes like brewed was thrown out for the same reason..... (i'd will never happen) ha ha

ok, so fellow dz.comers.... what would you like to see on the store shelves???? does not have to be realistic or logical.... just something my group can make a marketing plan around...

most of our ideas are rather bland at the moment.

thanks....

the big P

Prepackaged meals (room-temperature) with their own little heat packs included. Just tap the bottom the right way, and leave it out for 10 minutes, and you have an appetizingly-warm meal.

There are insulation issues, of course, so it wouldn't fly, but man it'd be nice for offices that don't have refrigerators and microwaves.

There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)

MREs (Meal, Ready to Eat, the military's field ration) have a heater element where you open the bag, stick the food item in (in its own sealed bag), pour in a little water, and in a few minutes, you have a nice hot meal. I've also seen cans of soup with a heating element in the bottom. Pop the top, activate the element, 5 minutes later you have hot soup. It can be done.

I got one for ya. Coffee that is already in the bottom of a cup it has the filter in there and everything. just add water.so when you are done just toss the cup. Or have it like a tea bag. So you don't need to keep the whole big tin of coffee. just take a couple bags and you are good to go.
