Shhhhhh....

Recommended Posts

My husband is going to come party with us at Chicks Rock, but he has no idea how much I really spend on skydiving. So if you happen to meet him or talk to him, his name is Tom and he's very outgoing so he'll probably be talking to everyone...just let him think that packers are like $3 and that you have to use them for a boogie, that tunnel/RW camps only cost jump tickets, that tunnel time is free if you go to a special session, that used gear comes with your ititials embroidered on it. etc. Just try to convey skydiving as an inexpensive sport. Thanks. ;)

Is he going solely to drive the RV?

No, he wasn't comfortable with me driving the RV alone for the first time, but when he heard there was a party, he was there. He'll be driving the RV down after his golf tournament. He's very social, I'm very shy, guess opposites attract. LOL ;)

Unfortunately, I am totally serious. If he knew what I really spend he'd have a fit.

Yeah, the weather is clearing up. YAY!!!!

Bwaaahahahaha

We have a jumper exactly like this at our DZ. Well, almost exactly like this. Ok, well the situation is sorta similar.

The husband doesn't want to know how much she spends, just as long as she doesn't spend all of her money and it hurts the family.

I guess its a good thing that Morgan is a jumper and understands whats involved and the costs...well, maybe that's a good thing.:P

Get him up for a tandem

If they'll let me use a rig, and he's willing, I'll take him.:)

Oh, you are so sweet JP, but he's over the weight limit. I think it's 225 and he's like 230. If you could make an exception for the weight I'm sure he'd love to go.

I would like to see how your husband would do not the IQ test in the General Skydiving forum.:P Does he ever complain about riding the short bus.:S

Sparky

Ding-ding-ding-ding! There's your counter-argument! If he spends ANYTHING near what my whuffo friends spend on golf clubs, green fees, pro coaching, tournaments... Well, I'd say you're in the clear. How long has he been golfing? He may have built you enough leeway over the years to buy yourself a second rig.
Good luck!

If he's a reasonably fit 230 (I think PVSS is 230 exactly for tandem) I wouldn't have a problem. My personal limit at sea level is 245# and with the cool temp, thick air, and breezes we've been having I'd take him. Just gotta convince the schools.

You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
