skybytch 273 #1 October 22, 2004 There are times in everyone's life when the support of other people means everything. Sometimes that support can be the difference between getting through the shit life throws at you (or that you choose to have thrown at you, depending on your philosophical bent) or giving up. Some people go above and beyond the definition of "friend." I'm lucky enough to have many of these people in my life. In no particular order I'd like to publicly thank Lisa, Lindsey, Jack, Lynn, Doug, Greg, Chuck, Katie, Mary, Paige, Renee, Dominic, Wally, Jim, Sangiro, JP, Bill and Keith - for being there for me when I needed someone and/or some place, for not taking "no" for an answer, for understanding, for listening, for good advice heeded and unheeded, for dealing with some of the stuff I couldn't, for giving of themselves in so many different ways to help me get through what has been a very trying past few months. I'd also like to thank everyone who has sent me messages of support and caring and apologize to those I didn't reply to; it wasn't because I didn't appreciate it but because I was too overwhelmed to respond. Some people are awesome. All of those named and unnamed above are in that group. I hope all of you have at least a few of these kind of people in your lives.
