Dropzone Drop-Offs...Again (People Suck)

Recommended Posts

Well here we go again. Some very ROTTEN people were caught in the act dropping off puppies behind the dropzone on a dead end road. Stewart's girl friend (Blyth) bless her heart rounded up 3 puppies. Stewart saw a Hawk swoop up a 4th :|. She brought them back to the DZ where they were welcomed and loved by all. They are adorable. Looks like: Shepard, Chow and maybe Rotty too. They seem to be about 6-8 weeks old.
Scotty made a little puppy hut for them with blankets and stuff and we put them under the observation deck. Well its a bit nippy here in GA so our hearts got the best of us and we brought them down to the bus (Hercules is not happy) ;)
Once we got the puppy hut down to the bus we were shocked......we now had 4 puppies NOT 3. Apparently one of our packers was out looking for a cut-away main and found the puppy that we thought was HAWK FOOD “how cool is that”!!!!!
We gave them all a nice warm bath (they were totally grimy).
To make a long story short…….SOME PEOPLE JUST FLAT OUT SUCK!
These dogs are so place able. We will try to adopt them out this weekend (as we have done so many other times with drop-offs).
If you are near ASC and would like to see them and TAKE ONE HOME please stop by.
Here is a picture.

How could someone just throw away pups as adorable as those!! They are beautiful!! I hope you are able to find good homes for them all!!

Jamie,
Hows about I bring a brother down for your baby ;)
The "all black" puppy has already been nicknamed Lucky.....he was the one thought to be Hawk Food :o
Scotty sure has is getting attached to him.
Bus + Scotty + Tami + Hercules + Tommy + Lucky = "" We gotta get a bigger bus"" :S :S
Lemme know if you want me to bring you one down next week ;)

Good News.....
1 Puppy was adopted by a tandem student today (a really nice family)
3 of the remaining puppies were taken by LEE03 who has a Vet Friend that will give them thier shots and find them good homes (thanks LEE03).
The puppies had a great time over the weekend. This was one of the first weekends we didnt have to worry about the wuffo kids getting into trouble in the hanger cause they stayed outside and played with the puppies all day :)<>

Aww they're so cute! I wish you guys were in Tx so I could take one.

Hell I'm in the middle of trying to adopt a rescue Boston Terrier from the Houston Boston Terrier Rescue shelter and they're making it very difficult b/c I'm young, single and in college.I've already gone through a 7 page adoption packet, vet release for all pet records from the past 10yrs, and if all that checks out they do a walk-through of my apartment and I'll actually get to meet the dog in person before they make a final decision.Did I mention the $225 adoption fee?Hell for a little more I talked to a breeder and I can have the pick of the litter of a champion bloodline but here I am being treated like a criminal by the shelter b/c I'm trying to save a rescue.*sigh* Dammit!:(

I hope your rescues have better luck. With cuties like that they'll have loving homes in no time.Best of luck you guys.:)

Man! I hate when people do that!
A couple of months ago, I found a cat that someone abandoned. I'm sure there were more that died in the woods somewhere. It was just the only one I found. It was sick with a respiratory illness and very skinny. I took it to the vet and planned on keeping it but it died 2 days later there (after I racked up a bill for around $150). I like to hunt and it doesn't bother me at all to see animals die. It just really pisses me off when they suffer needlessly like that. Starving to death by the side of the road. People should be beaten for doing crap like that! >:(

AWWWW!! I'm so glad you saved them!! They are precious!!

Conway, I don't know what that is, but it sounds cruel and unusual, even for these bastards! :D

they should be ...nuttered then molasses/fire ant tortured to death!>:(

I know, I know, you meant neutered - it just looked too funny!

you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

No, "Nuttered" is when you do it to them with pliers and a hammer on a gravel road!:P

We were very happy they got a home too!
So was our practicing teams :D
As you know I kept them in a box on Friday night the RV. I only got about 1 hour of sleep cause they kept crying and wanting to go potty. I didnt want to be kept awake all night Saturday so I put their blankets and water in the mock up. I didnt think to put paper down for them "I had a buzz by that time". Our 4-way team had quite the yucky surprise when they started dirt diving Sunday morning WAY before I was up.....ewwweeee :S
