Spudmuffin 0 #6 October 28, 2004 That was a good one. My husband wants to take me to see "Saw" this weekend and has made me swear not to read anything about it. Now I want to look it up....AAAGGGHHH!!! I (accidentally) heard it compared with "Seven" which I thought it was a good story. Completely sick, but good. There have been so many poor ripoffs. I hope "Saw" doesn't suck.

Acensky 0 #17 October 28, 2004 Mine is not really all that scary but I still jump at it. House on Haunted Hill. The Haunting... is not scary, but a little on the odd side, the acting is eh. The best thing is that it makes my roommate jump every time, she can't watch it alone or at night. so guess what we are watching this weekend?? HeatherGarbage bags do not make good parachutes. MikeJD 0 #18 October 28, 2004 I liked the US remake of The Ring. Some nice shocks and just a great unsettling atmosphere throughout, plus I think the best use of special effects I've ever seen - like plucking the fly from the image on the TV screen, and the horse going overboard from the ferry. Not flashy but completely convincing. I haven't seen the original, although people say it's even better. Anybody seen both and have an opinion?

Shotgun 1 #23 October 28, 2004 "From Dusk Til Dawn" (probably my favorite movie in general) and "Bride of Chucky"... guess I like the cheese. The first "Final Destination" was good too... And "King Kong" is sexy (if that would be considered a scary movie?)
crotalus01 0 #24 October 28, 2004 the us remake of The Ring is virtually the same as the japanese version; however, they cut out the explanation of exactly what is going on. in my opinion the japanese version is a little creepier and more complete. As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD...
