windcatcher 0 #1 October 29, 2004 Anybody else here have a hard time concentrating on school work, thinking about jumping? Yeah, I know, there's more to life than skydiving, but duh!, I'd rather be out jumping than sitting here typing papers or reading, learning Spanish at the 203 level.... I have a had a few people tell me there's no way they could've stayed in college, had they discovered this sport before they graduated. Anybody else need a kick in the butt for not studying? bob.dino 1 #2 October 29, 2004 You're finding it hard to concentrate on studying because you can think of more fun things to do. Sounds like every student and worker bee I've ever heard of .
flyingferret 0 #3 October 29, 2004 Just take homework to the dropzone. I did that for a while. Then I realized that I never ever touched it. Money held me back, so skydiving was a monthly evil. And I was a chronic over achiever, so I did not really party or drink much compared to others in school. So, skydiving was my indulgence. Honestly, I would say it the other way, "I am not sure I would have survived college without jumping"-- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI. brits17 0 #4 October 29, 2004 Its not easy. Think of school as work. Get it done and go play. There was this one time however, on a philosophy exam essay question, where I had no clue what the answer was, or even where to begin. So I started writing "No shit there I was..." and proceeded to tell a skydiving story, getting all philosophical about life and death. The prof gave me 1/2 credit for trying and writing an entertaining story. _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

Still, too bad I ain;t a gold digger...darnit! I could just quit and get all my jumps paid for... Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
