What do you read each month?

Recommended Posts

I just looked over at the stack of paper I am recycling this month and realized just how much I read. I was just curious what is the list of stuff you read every month?

This month I read "Angels and Demons" as well as "DaVinci Code" (A&D is better). I reread most of The Joys of Photography, and I am starting in on "Devil in the White City." I won't count any of the books I skim over while sitting at Barnes and Noble.

On top of those books, I read these magazines every month (and I get all but the skydiving ones for free):

Skydiving
Parachutist
Newsweek (x4)
Mobile PC
PC Magazine
Smithsonian
PC World
Wired
Time
eWeek (x4)
PC Gamer
Maxim
Popular Mechanics
Discover
Flight Training

Plus I've started to read the WSJ and Sun Times that gets delivered to work.

Within the last couple months I have read "angels and demons" and "Davinci Code" too great books, except I liked the former better I like the way he played with history better;) I also read "Deception Point" too.... Hmm lets see, in the last month....

novels:
Fatal tide
Tell No One
The Last Juror (not Grisham's best but still good)

Other publications read on a regular basis
skydiving 'duh'
WSJ
New york Times (they hand them out for free at the U of O)
Register Guard or the Oregonian
Four or five Bike mag's (depends on what looks good)
Alert Diver (SCUBA)
Scuba diver
Rodales
Shit load of posts on DZ.com:D
those are the regulars, but many others on a semi-regular basis....

Plus all the reading required for 16 credits of an University....

Trying to decide what book to engage in next

At least 5 books a year. I wish it were more.

As for magazines, regularly:
Wired
ESPN the Mag
Newsweek
National Review
Entertainment Weekly

So I guess that means that I read about 400 pages of magazine advertisements per month.

And whenever I'm in an airport traveling: Rolling Stone and USA Today. Don't know why I don't read those at home. Only on the road.

Almost forgot Parachutist. Just got my second one.

What i read monthly??? B| A really good question!!!

Daily i read my e-mails, and some daily newspaper, mostly germans cause i'm one! :P

Weekly: Some magazines about politics, business and more, and of corse the different skydiving magazines!!!

Monthly: My bills!!!

I think they pay the postman for this, he brings me bills, bills and more bills. I don't like this guy. No i hate this guy, and i think it was good that we have strengh gun laws here in germany!!! I don't know what happens with this postman guy if they would legalize guns and more!!! :)
The only rings that are worth wearing, are those of my 3-ring-system!!!

I seldom read a book, maybe once a year if I find one that interests me. The last one I read was Population 485. by Mike Perry. I do however read a lot of papers and magazines each month.

Here's some.

Parachutist, like I had to mention that.
Sno Gower
Track & Trail
Snowmobiler
Firehouse
Fire Enginering
1st Responder News
Country Folks
Farmers Advance
High Plains Journal
Ag Impact
Top Producer
Farm Journal
Progressive Farmer
Sucessful Farming
Vegitable Grower
Hook
Probably more if I thought about it.

As someone else mentioned a lot of bills.
Which remindes me I have some to pay tomarrow.
