Val said that, I was trying to avoid posting multiple replies in a row. Sorry if I confused you

Its a common thread for me today. Hell, you should have been in my last class with me.

The prof is a Russian lady (formerly a soviet lady) who is teaching a 300 level (junior/senior) Middle East Asia history course. She actually worked as a diplomat in vietnam for a while for the Soviet Union. So her perspective on the beginning of the Vietnam war (1940-1956, today's topic) was relatively confusing. Never mind the very heavily accented english.:P

Give Michael a call and bribe him with some thing to come over and fix it.

But really, you would love a lap top, you can take it any where and post whore with it.

Well, it did. Then, something happened and it made both programs stop working.

There's an option in there somewhere (at least on the Pro version) to do a startup scan - I'd try that too. "Hijack This" should get rid of most of the crap too.

YOu really want her to use HiJack this?

I just saw an article recently - they test drove all of the anti-spyware programs. There wasn't one that was fully effective, even the ones you have to pay for. The Spyware folks are two or three steps ahead of those programs...and once they have a hold of your system, some prevent you from going to a website to download the programs.

Here's a bit of advice. Don't talk about val as if she's not part of the decision making process of what software to use...

HiJack this is not a user friendly tool - and you need to have a very good understanding of all things Windows before you use it. If you don't it only takes two clicks to make your entire system inoperable.

Yeah, it's weird for people to talk about me like I'm not reading it! :D And, I have Hijack This, and I've used it before. I just haven't ran it this time around because I gave up!

Okay, I say we talk about Sunny like she's not here;)

So, this one time at SCD, when I was there for Summer Fest, that gal Sunny had to come up with an excuse not to go to work Friday night. You should have heard what she told her boss:$:o:ph34r:
