tunaplanet 0 #1 March 18, 2004 Anyone else watch this show? I have been an avid watcher since the first episode. The acting and script-writing is phenominal. Truly a great series. Who else watches TWW? Forty-two

quade 4 #3 March 18, 2004 One of the funniest episodes ever was just on today. Yeah, i watch it on a fairly regular basis. Very witty dialog. There -are- a couple of things about The West Wing that absolutely drive me freekin' nuts. One of the problems is that -somebody- in every episode, because of the complex subject matter of the show, has to play the part of "Mr. Exposition". While this doesn't bother me if it's Donna, it totally bugs the crap out of me when the staff has to explain something to President Bartlet. There was one episode where President Bartlet was going to have a foriegn leader assasinated and then Leo or somebody made an off hand comment about a wet team going in . . . the President then questioned why if this was a land operation they had a wet team . . . then Leo (or the somebody) had to explain to the President why they're called that. Arrrgh. It's just something to watch for in every episode.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
tunaplanet 0 #4 March 18, 2004 Which episode? Assuming you're referring to the reruns on Bravo since they didn't have a new one on NBC tonight. Forty-two
quade 4 #5 March 18, 2004 Yeah, it was the rerun on Bravo about Josh having a REALLY bad day (well, that's not too unique is it?) anyway CJ had to have emergency dental work and Josh fills in at the Press Briefing -- hysterical. Foot in mouth disease begins before he even take the lecturn. Oh, and I should add that I think one of the writers on that particular episode was Dee Dee Meyers, former White House Press Secretary, so I can only imagine how much of this was based in some truth.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
tunaplanet 0 #6 March 18, 2004 Yes. That one was hysterical. Forty-two
mjosparky 4 #7 March 18, 2004 Watch it as often as I remember. As Paul said the dialog is great. And like most liberal Presidents, Barlet doesn't have a clue. (just kidding Paul) SparkyMy idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
tunaplanet 0 #8 March 18, 2004 Actually I think Martin Sheen is brilliant in that show. To be honest, everyone of the cast members are phenominal. Forty-two
Gawain 0 #9 March 18, 2004 I enjoyed it until Martin Sheen actually started to think he was the President. I don't watch much of it anymore, but I don't watch a ton of network TV anyway...So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! Andrewwhyte 1 #11 March 18, 2004 Do you ever get the feeling that Jeb Bartlet was that guy in Apocalypse Now? Every time I see him on the west Wing I get a flashback of the young Sheen lying on the bed in Saigon staring at the ceiling fan.
TheAnvil 0 #12 March 18, 2004 I've watched it occasionally. Interesting dialogue. The young dude with black hair parted to the side plays a TOTAL wacko. Really ticked me off how they depicted Christianity in a couple of episodes, but all in all an interesting show. tunaplanet 0 #13 March 18, 2004 QuoteYeah, it was the rerun on Bravo about Josh having a REALLY bad day Lol, yeah I loved the part where CJ says to Josh right before he goes into the briefing room, "Be vewy caweful not to destwoy us." ROFL, classic. Forty-two
kelel01 1 #14 March 18, 2004 That episode was classic . . . I'm a huge fan of the show. My Mom is the one who insisted that I watch it, and now I think it's the best thing on TV.
 Ian84 0 #15 March 18, 2004 Yep........my favourite show on telly.
 dixieskydiver 0 #16 March 18, 2004 That one is hysterical. I used to watch all the time w/ my mom but since I've been at school I rarely remember. I try and catch up on digital cable (Bravo) when I'm home. My fav episode is when they had the conservative christian woman who applauded the gay person getting drug to death and the Prez laid into her ass hardcore in front of the press.
