McDuck 0 #2 November 3, 2004 I was just thinking this morning how unfair it is to go right from one nuisance to another in the same two-month span. FlyingJ 0 #3 November 3, 2004 I walked into Wal-Mart yesterday and I'll be damned if they don't have a HUGE sign just as you walk in the door already counting down the days to Christmas.Killing threads since 2004.
AggieDave 6 #4 November 3, 2004 Too late, All Hallow's Eve hadn't even happened when I saw the first x-mas commercial. I blame Hallmark!--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
ChasingBlueSky 0 #5 November 3, 2004 I stopped by Walgreens on Halloween - they were putting up the Christmas section! You ready to hear that "bloomin onion" Outback Steakhouse commercial again? That thing annoys the hell out of me!_________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... I WILL fly again..... Vallerina 2 #6 November 3, 2004 I love Christmas! I love the music, decorations, candy, egg nog, presents, and all the other crap that goes along with it! If you're not religious, the crap that goes along with Christmas is pure fun! If you are religious, then it's annoying because it's distracting from the "reason for the season." I don't care about the reason! I want egg nog! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

skymama 37 #9 November 3, 2004 QuoteCHRISTMAS COMMERCIALS!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!! Well, how else are you going to know what to buy me, Kev? Val, you sound just like my daughter! She came with me to the store yesterday and begged me to buy Egg Nog! I made her get the low-fat kind because she'll drink the whole container in 2 days if she can. I like it too, I just wish it wasn't so fattening! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
