Jib 0 #1 November 5, 2004 My grandparents are/were 90. When I went to the funeral of my grandfather, it seemed like people were waiting to die and most of their friends had been gone for years. So, do you really want to live that long? If so, why? -------------------------------------------------- the depth of his depravity sickens me. -- Jerry Falwell, People v. weegegirl 2 #2 November 5, 2004 As long as I can take care of myself - fully self-suficient - no diaper changing or denture cleaning - I'm in. I'd rather go before it got to that point.

Brian425 0 #6 November 5, 2004 HELL YEAH!!!! I want to live as long as possible!! I will have my family, hopefully my wife and if my old friends are no longer with me, I will make new ones. Live like there is no tomorrow, plan like it will never end. Either way, you will be prepared!!! The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand. Stacy 0 #10 November 5, 2004 A man at my assisted living turned 89 today. After we blew out his birthday candles (we had a party for his family, etc), he told everyone that it didn't matter how many days there were, but what happened in those days. If my thought process is still in tact liek that, then sure. keep me alive. but if not, bah. __

slug 1 #12 November 5, 2004 Maybe and that Final Some folks are old before their time, burned out, bad gene's, to much to soon. Whatever there's a bunch of reasons. Watched a dude 91 y.o. do a tandem at Z-hills same day his big sister 92 y.o. or 93 did one to keep up with little bro and then her little bro the 91y.o had to do another tandem same day to show sis he could still beat her. (or had more $$)They were haveing a ball! Just watching them do there sibling rivilry thing laugh giggle jump with their kids and grandkids and have a good time put a smile on a lot of face's mine included Lifes like a box of chocolet, etc etc. Take care of your health you might live longer then you expected. When it's time really time to go Bye! Just be sure because the next piece of chocolet might be a good one. R.I.P.
