edwinsneller 0 #2 November 10, 2004 Cool! I didn't see the Fox thing but I have the live Channel 12 footage from BridgeDay. I don't know weegegirl to see her. What does she look like and approx what time (12 to 3) was her jump so I can check to see if they got her.--- Some days it's not even worth the effort to chew through the restraints. ccowden 0 #3 November 10, 2004 She will have to answer the questions for you. I am not sure. All I saw was her landing.
weegegirl 2 #4 November 10, 2004 Ha. Yeah. Great. I'm the one on Fox landing and rolling my ankle on a rock. I didn't know that damn camera was there. My ankle is STILL sore. But at least I made tv... for the FIRST time!!!!! I thought that was pretty cool.

weegegirl 2 #13 November 10, 2004 Thanks! It really wasn't that bad. Honestly. I hit the landing area fine, and what would have been a normal stand up landing fumbled a bit when my foot slid on a wet slick rock and I rolled my ankle. I sort of fell forward to my hands and knees and then hopped right up about 1/2 a second later. I did have a pained look in my face because, shit, it kinda hurt. What do you expect honestly? Of course they threw in tons of extra drama - "Only one chance..." "8 seconds till IMPACT..." "blah blah blah..." My landing was only about a 3 second clip and in general it was a positive review. I don't think the media will ever change to a happy, safe image of our sport - whuffos wouldn't find it as interesting.
