Recommended Posts

Mmmmm, yummy,,,I will be at Red Lobster in approx. 5 hours. to celebrate a few friends' birthdays. I can't wait to eat something other than cafeteria food (blech!).
Anybody got any suggestions of what I should order? I think I deserve a treat, what about lobster tail? mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I used to eat there all the time until my wife, son, and I all got food poisoning. We were at the one in Augusta, GA. We were up all night throwing our guts up. One of the most miserable times I've had. Haven't been able to bring myself to go back. That was 4 years ago. Sorry, I should save all my negative talk for SC. Steak. :P

Lobster's always a good call. If you want to make your date happy, start with some raw oysters. :o

You're not weird. I'll bet you live someplece where fresh seafood is common and reasonably priced! My niece from SanFrancisco made a comment about wanting to go there a while back, and my jaw hit the floor! I mean, the girl lives right near the ocean!

Red Lobster is the seafood equivalent of an Olive Garden restaurant. Its a chain, reasonably priced and the food/ atmosphere, etc is OK, good even, but not outstanding! If you live near the coast and can get good seafood at a reasonable price already, why bother?

Definitely go with the lobster!!!! MMMMMMMMMM, my favorite. I don't know about the Red Lobster though, I don't think I've ever eaten at one. Living in the PNW, fresh fish, Salmon and seafood is the best! Mmmmm, Lobster and musssels!

no doubt, nothing like going to the dock and meeting the boats when they get back, buying a bucket of lobster, get another bucket of seawater to cook them in (that way the salt content is just right;) and going home for a feast! B|.

mmmmmmmmm lobsters.....

edited to add, just remembered a red lobster story. i once hauled a load of fresh newfoundland scallops to boston, then loading frozen scallops from taiwan and hauled them to red lobster in toronto.:S if you want good seafood, at least find a good fish market!
