skygirlpc 0 #1 November 10, 2004 Let me start by apologizing in advance for this, this really is a venting post. My sister and I share an apartment in Pensacola, or I should say did until Ivan came through. The storm left our apartment unlivable. And if you have been around this area at all you know that finding a new place to live is almost impossible because so many homes were destroyed. Thankfully we have family close by that are willing to let us stay with them. Right after the storm we ran into the contractor that is working on our apartment. He said that he hoped to have us back in the apartment in 45 days or at least by Christmas. Well, I just got off the phone with my apartment manager and she said not to expect to be able to move back in before the end of January. Oh man! Don't get me wrong, I love my family and I'm very thankful for a place to stay, I just want my apartment back! I'm so ready to get back to my normal life! Sorry for whining, thanks for listening! skygirlpc 0 #4 November 11, 2004 Hey thanks for listening! Only January of '05, so I guess I should be thankful, huh? I know it could have been a lot worse! I'm just not looking forward to spending the holidays living out of laundry baskets. Oh well, what can you do? And besides it will make us very thankful when we do get to move back in. The good news is that my Grandmas house (thats where we are staying) is closer to the dz.
