ccowden 0 #1 November 11, 2004 Anyone else catch the MTV performance with Linkin Park and Jay-Z? I thought it was friggin' awesome! And I actually don't like Jay-Z at all. But the two together were sweet!

dixieskydiver 0 #4 November 11, 2004 I downloaded the new remix song they put out, I think it's ok. I think they're both very talented artists, I really wish Jay-z wasn't retiring. Why IS he retiring? I knew he was because I saw it on the MTV Video Music Awards, but I wasn't sure why.I'm so funny I crack my head open! cvfd1399 0 #8 November 11, 2004 I caught the 99 problems but a bitch aint one song, and it rocked. Jay-z IMO is the best at rapping acoustic, and situations like last night.
BGill 0 #9 November 12, 2004 I don't think he's retiring himself, but more retiring the name Jay-Z and doing more on a personal level as Sean Carter. I don't have proof of that but that's just what I've heard from the grapevine. I think he also wants to do more producing... kinda like the path that Dr. Dre has taken. I'm sure it's not the last that we'll be seeing of him...
 sid 1 #10 November 12, 2004 I thought it was awesome too Chris.
