BlindBrick 0 #1 November 12, 2004 Just want to let everyone know that the people at Alti-2 are awesome. In my Science of Peak Sports Performance class we are doing a research project on altimeter error caused by differing body/altimeter positions and flight regimens and I asked the guys at Alti-2 if they could help. I just got done setting up the three Neptunes that they lent us for the experiment. Not only that, but they shipped a ton of free swag with the Neps, arranged for us to get a temporary liscense for the full version of Paralog from Klaus so we could effectively analyze our data, and shipped it all on their own nickle! This generosity has made our lives tremendously easier, and we want to let everyone know how great they've been. We have given them our thanks, but it's nowhere enough. So next time you see anyone from Alti-2, please tell them mucho thanks from the guys and gals at Fort Lewis College in Durango. -Blind"If you end up in an alligator's jaws, naked, you probably did something to deserve it." SkymonkeyONE 4 #5 November 12, 2004 Note to others: If you go to Deland and get invited on a motorcycle ride with Kat and Roger you need to understand that they are very serious about their bikes. They are straight-up roadrace types and have not only very trick stree bikes, but track bikes as well. Katie and I went on about a 60 mile loop with them last time we were there. Us on our Harley in tanktops and no helmets, them in body armor and wearing doghouses on their heads. Clearly, we were ill-suited for that kind of a ride, but we still had a great time, rode faster than Katie liked, and did, eventually, find a bar to stop at and have drinks. They are great folks and run a great business. They have totally hooked both Katie and I up. Also, they are getting married pretty soon! Chuck

Actually, I work for the school as an Assistant Residece Director too, and I can tell you that this year our freshmen admissions are down by a significant percentage because of the new tougher admissions standards we have in place. -Blind"If you end up in an alligator's jaws, naked, you probably did something to deserve it."
