10 Things That I've learned lately...

1. I've learned that, no matter what happens
nor how bad it seems today,
life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.

2. I've learned that you can tell a lot
about a person by the way he/she handles
three things: a rainy day, a lost dream,
and a tangled extension cord.

3. I've learned that making a "living" is
not the same thing as making a "life."

4. I've learned that life sometimes gives
you a second chance.

5. I've learned that you shouldn't go
through life with a catcher's mitt on
both hands. You need to be able to throw
something back.

6. I've learned that if you pursue
happiness, it will elude you. But, if
you focus on your love, your friends,
the needs of others, your work and doing
the very best you can, happiness will
find you.

7. I've learned that whenever I decide
something with an open heart, I usually
make the right decision.

8. I've learned that even when I have
pains, I don't have to be one.

9. I've learned that you sometimes have
to let life lead you, instead of believing
life can only go the way you want it to.

10. I've learned that I still have a lot to
learn.

I've learned that EVERYTHING ALWAYS works out. Whether good or bad, everything happens the way it should ... and learning to ACCEPT yourself, life, eachother, is one of the most powerful things you can do with your life.

2) I am having a hard time typing well I am drunk.

3) My knees are not hurting this winter and I will be competing in a rail competition on Saturday.

Lessons learned in 04.

All of them in the longest three minutes of my life...

Nothing is as important as loving those around you and embracing them with every inch of your being.

They may not be around a minute from now.

The rest of my life I will look at my son and note that "he's still here", he lived.

Oddly? We should look at everyone in that manner, because the minute will come, that they won't be.

My children remain the most beautiful thing I've ever experienced in my life.
